DRAWING FOR THE TERRIFIED!
5 Week Course, starting Friday May 9th
This 5 week comprehensive and accessible course on the fundamentals of drawing is aimed at complete beginners, improvers who want a better, more rounded understanding of drawing and those simply wanting a ‘skills refresh’. 100 percent beginner friendly, this course aims to demystify drawing techniques and give you a solid foundation and increased confidence in all aspects of drawing.
Course Content Included:
Tools of the trade * Observation * Simple measuring * Form / shape * Mark making * Negative space * Light and shade * Highlights and shadows * Drawing with an eraser * How and when to best use graphite in different forms (ie, pencil, stick, powder)
Materials Required:
A mixed set of graphite pencils from hard to soft, ideally including: H, HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B
Drawing paper, erasers, pencil sharpener, ruler
Cost:
The 5 week course is £85. If you can’t make every date or simply want to try out one class, you can pay for individual classes at £18 each.
